At Goonhavern Primary School, we believe that children achieve their very best when families and school work together in genuine partnership. Our Family Engagement Programme has been designed to create meaningful opportunities for parents, carers and school staff to listen, learn and plan together for the benefit of every child.

The recent Family Engagement Event was the first step in this journey. During the session, families shared valuable feedback, ideas and aspirations for the future of the school, which have directly informed our action plan for 2026/27. We are grateful for the positive engagement and open discussions that took place.

Importantly, this is not a standalone event. Each termly engagement session will build upon the work of the previous one, allowing us to review progress, celebrate successes, consider new ideas and shape future priorities together. By working collaboratively with families, we aim to strengthen trust, improve communication and ensure that our school continues to reflect the needs and aspirations of the community it serves.

Together, we can create the very best experiences, opportunities and outcomes for all children at Goonhavern Primary School.
